Reuters, citing two Western officials and two Iranian officials, reported that Saudi Arabia has carried out several undeclared attacks in Iran in response to assaults that occurred on its territory during the Middle East conflict. According to the two Western officials, these attacks were conducted by the Saudi Air Force in late March. One of the officials stated that these attacks were "retaliatory actions in response to the assaults that Saudi Arabia had been targeted by."

Reuters, referencing previous reports about the United Arab Emirates' attacks on Iran, noted that the actions of Saudi Arabia and the UAE indicate that Gulf Arab countries, which have been targeted by the Islamic Republic, are gradually entering a phase of direct retaliation.
