The office of the Prime Minister of Israel announced on Wednesday that Benjamin Netanyahu had made a "secret" trip to the United Arab Emirates during the war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran.

The statement mentioned that Netanyahu met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the President of the United Arab Emirates.

The office of the Prime Minister of Israel stated: "This trip led to a historic advancement in relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates."

Earlier, senior U.S. officials confirmed that Israel had deployed an Iron Dome defense system along with forces to operate it to the UAE during the war with Iran.

Additionally, according to Arab officials and a source familiar who spoke with the Wall Street Journal, David Barnea, the head of Mossad, traveled to the UAE at least twice during the war with Iran to discuss coordination related to this conflict.

دفتر نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل روز چهارشنبه اعلام کرد که بنیامین نتانیاهو در جریان جنگ آمریکا و اسرائیل با ایران، به‌طور «محرمانه» به امارات متحده عربی سفر کرده بود.

در این بیانیه آمده که نتانیاهو با شیخ محمد بن زاید، رئیس امارات متحده عربی، دیدار کرد.

دفتر نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل گفت: «این سفر به یک پیشرفت تاریخی در روابط میان اسرائیل و امارات متحده عربی منجر شد.»

پیش‌تر مقام‌های ارشد آمریکایی تأیید کردند که اسرائیل در جریان جنگ با ایران، یک سامانه پدافندی «گنبد آهنین» به همراه نیروهایی برای بهره‌برداری از آن به امارات اعزام کرده است.

همچنین به گفته مقام‌های عرب و یک منبع آگاه که با روزنامه وال‌استریت جورنال گفت‌وگو کردند، دیوید بارنئا، رئیس موساد، دست‌کم دو بار در طول جنگ با ایران به امارات سفر کرد تا دربارهٔ هماهنگی‌های مربوط به این درگیری رایزنی کند.
