The UK Maritime Trade Operations Center announced on Thursday, May 13, that following a maritime incident in the northeastern United Arab Emirates, "unauthorized individuals" have taken control of a vessel in the anchorage, and this ship is now heading towards Iranian territorial waters.

This agency stated that it received a report about the maritime incident 38 nautical miles (about 70 kilometers) northeast of the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, and after that, the ship was seized and its course was changed towards Iranian territorial waters.

مرکز عملیات تجارت دریایی بریتانیا روز پنجشنبه ۲۴ اردیبهشت اعلام کرد پس از وقوع حادثه‌ای دریایی در شمال شرقی امارات متحده عربی، «افراد غیرمجاز» کنترل یک کشتی در لنگرگاه را به دست گرفته‌اند و این کشتی اکنون به سوی آب‌های سرزمینی ایران در حرکت است.

این نهاد گفت گزارشی دربارهٔ حادثه دریایی در ۳۸ مایل دریایی (حدود ۷۰ کیلومتری) شمال شرقی بندر فجیره امارات متحده عربی دریافت کرده و پس از آن، کشتی به تصرف درآمده و مسیر آن به سوی آب‌های سرزمینی ایران تغییر داده شده است.
