Iranian media report that the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic accused the United Arab Emirates of "direct interference" in military operations against his country during the BRICS meeting in New Delhi. This tension arose a day after the UAE rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claim of visiting the Gulf nation during the Iran war.

The Mehr News Agency quoted Araqchi as saying: "For the sake of unity, I did not mention the UAE in my speech at BRICS. But the truth is that the UAE was directly involved in the aggression against my country. When the attacks began, they didn't even condemn it." Iranian media did not specify what statements the UAE representative made at the meeting.

According to these reports, Araqchi also stated that "neither U.S. bases nor an alliance with Israel has brought security to the UAE, and this country needs to reconsider its policy towards Iran." Araqchi had previously said: "Those who collaborate with Israel to create division will be held accountable."

Iranian media have also expressed doubt about whether the participants in the BRICS Foreign Ministers' meeting in India will be able to issue a joint final statement, as differences between Iran and the UAE continue. In this context, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, was quoted as saying that due to the UAE's presence at the meeting, there have been "problems and consultations."

رسانه‌های ایران می‌گویند وزیر خارجه جمهوری اسلامی در نشست بریکس در دهلی‌نو، امارات متحده عربی را به «دخالت مستقیم» در عملیات نظامی علیه کشورش متهم کرد.
این تنش یک روز پس از آن رخ داد که امارات ادعای بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل، مبنی بر سفر به این کشور حاشیه خلیج فارس در جریان جنگ ایران را رد کرد.

خبرگزاری مهر به نقل از عراقچی نوشت: «من به خاطر حفظ وحدت، در سخنرانی‌ام در بریکس نامی از امارات نبردم. اما حقیقت این است که امارات مستقیماً در تجاوز علیه کشور من دخیل بود. وقتی حملات آغاز شد، آن‌ها حتی آن را محکوم هم نکردند.»
رسانه‌های ایرانی مشخص نکردند که نماینده امارات چه اظهاراتی در این نشست مطرح کرده بود.

بر اساس این گزارش‌ها، عراقچی همچنین گفت که «نه پایگاه‌های آمریکا و نه اتحاد با اسرائیل برای امارات امنیت به همراه نیاورده و این کشور باید در سیاست خود نسبت به ایران تجدیدنظر کند».
عراقچی پیش‌ از این نیز گفته بود: «کسانی که با اسرائیل برای ایجاد تفرقه همکاری می‌کنند، پاسخگو خواهند شد.»

رسانه‌های ایرانی همچنین درباره اینکه آیا شرکت‌کنندگان نشست وزیران خارجه بریکس در هند خواهند توانست بیانیه نهایی مشترکی صادر کنند یا نه، ابراز تردید کرده‌اند؛ زیرا اختلافات میان ایران و امارات ادامه دارد.
در همین رابطه از کاظم غریب‌آبادی، معاون وزیر خارجه ایران، نقل شده که به دلیل حضور امارات در این نشست، «مشکلات و رایزنی‌هایی» وجود داشته است.
