Hamid Rasai, the representative of Tehran in the Parliament, wrote that a "well-known" faction in the fourteenth government, which sees the solution as "liberating and increasing prices," intends to reduce the subsidized gasoline prices of 1,500 tomans and 3,000 tomans and raise the price of gasoline from 5,000 tomans to 15,000 to 20,000 tomans.

He added that the same faction in the fourteenth government had previously imposed what he called "the highest inflation since the 1979 Revolution" on the people by eliminating the preferential exchange rate of 28,500 tomans and increasing the currency price.

Rasai wrote that Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has "closed off the Parliament without justification and reason," blocking the representatives' oversight of the government's decisions. He added that fulfilling the duties of representation has become difficult, but he is trying to pull the Parliament out of this "intentional death" and prevent these "strange" decisions in the current "difficult and wartime" situation.

حمید رسایی، نماینده تهران در مجلس، نوشت جریانی «شناخته‌شده» در دولت چهاردهم که راه‌حل را «آزاد کردن و گران کردن» می‌داند، قصد دارد سهمیه بنزین هزار و ۵۰۰ تومانی و سه هزار تومانی را کاهش دهد و قیمت بنزین پنج هزار تومانی را به ۱۵ تا ۲۰ هزار تومان افزایش دهد.

او افزود همان جریان در دولت چهاردهم پیش‌تر با حذف ارز ترجیحی ۲۸ هزار و ۵۰۰ تومانی و گران کردن ارز، به گفته او، «بالاترین تورم پس از انقلاب ۵۷» را به مردم تحمیل کرده بود.

رسایی نوشت محمدباقر قالیباف با «پلمپ کردن بدون توجیه و دلیل مجلس»، راه نظارت نمایندگان بر تصمیمات دولت را بسته است. او افزود انجام تکلیف نمایندگی سخت شده، اما تلاش می‌کند مجلس را از این «مرگ تعمدی» بیرون بیاورد و جلوی این تصمیمات «عجیب» را در موقعیت «سخت و جنگی» فعلی بگیرد.
