Brad Cooper, the commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), announced that Iran's missile, drone, and naval industries have been "90 percent weakened."

In a hearing before the U.S. Senate, he stated: "The threat from Iran has been significantly diminished, and this country is no longer capable of threatening regional partners or the United States in any domain as it once did. They have been severely weakened."

Cooper noted that Iran's armed proxy forces had carried out over 350 attacks against American troops and diplomats in the 30 months leading up to the recent war; an average of one attack every three days, resulting in the deaths of four American soldiers.

Defending the recent war, Brad Cooper emphasized: "Today, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis have all been cut off from Iranian weapons and support. This outcome was not guaranteed in advance."

He also mentioned that U.S. forces no longer use advanced and expensive munitions to take down Iranian drones. The costly defense systems to counter Iranian drones had made headlines during the war, but the CENTCOM commander stated that the U.S. military is now using cheaper munitions.

برد کوپر، فرمانده ستاد فرماندهی مرکزی ایالات متحده (سنتکام)، اعلام کرد که صنایع موشکی، پهپادی و دریایی ایران «۹۰ درصد تضعیف شده‌اند.»

او در یک جلسه استماع در سنای آمریکا گفت: «تهدید ایران به‌طور قابل‌توجهی تضعیف شده و این کشور دیگر مانند گذشته، در هیچ حوزه‌ای، قادر به تهدید شرکای منطقه‌ای یا ایالات متحده نیست. آنها به‌شدت تضعیف شده‌اند.»

کوپر اشاره کرد که نیروهای نیابتی مسلح ایران در ۳۰ ماه پیش از جنگ اخیر، بیش از ۳۵۰ حمله علیه نیروها و دیپلمات‌های آمریکایی انجام داده بودند؛ به‌طور میانگین هر سه روز یک حمله، که در نتیجه آن چهار سرباز آمریکایی کشته شدند.

برد کوپر با دفاع از جنگ اخیر تأکید کرد: «امروز حماس، حزب‌الله و حوثی‌ها همگی از تأمین تسلیحات و حمایت ایران قطع شده‌اند. این نتیجه از پیش تضمین‌شده نبود.»

او همچنین گفت نیروهای آمریکایی دیگر برای سرنگون کردن پهپادهای ایرانی از مهمات پیشرفته و گران‌قیمت استفاده نمی‌کنند.
ذخایر سامانه‌های دفاعی پرهزینه برای مقابله با پهپادهای ایرانی در طول جنگ خبرساز شده بود، اما فرمانده سنتکام اعلام کرد ارتش آمریکا اکنون از مهمات ارزان‌تر استفاده می‌کند.
