The son of Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, stated that his father's body, which was killed on the first day of the attacks by Israel and the United States on Khamenei's office, remained under the rubble for nearly 30 days. Mousavi was appointed as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces after the death of Mohammad Bagheri in the 12-day war.

فرزند عبدالرحیم موسوی، رییس ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی، گفت که جنازه پدرش که در نخستین روز حملات اسرائیل و آمریکا به دفتر خامنهای کشته شد، نزدیک به ۳۰ روز زیر آوار مانده بود.
موسوی پس از کشته شدن محمد باقری در جنگ ۱۲ روزه، بهعنوان رییس ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح منصوب شد.
