The media affiliated with the judiciary of the Islamic Republic announced that the assets of 51 individuals in Yazd province have been seized by judicial order on charges of what has been termed "betrayal of the homeland" and "collaboration with the enemy."

According to this report, the cases of these individuals are being processed in connection with the law known as "increased penalties for espionage and collaboration with the Zionist regime against national security and interests," and judicial authorities have claimed that the seized assets will be used for "preserving public rights" and reconstructing war-damaged areas.

The seized assets include bank accounts, movable and immovable properties, company shares, and even entrusted properties.

According to the report by Mizan, among these 51 individuals, 20 are present in the country, while 31 others are abroad.

This action is part of a new wave of confiscation and seizure of the assets of citizens and political opponents; a process that has effectively become a tool for pressure, intimidation, and confiscation of individuals' properties under heavy titles such as "betrayal" and "collaboration with the enemy."
