♦️ The Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported on Tuesday, May 17, citing a source close to the negotiating team, that the U.S. has accepted in its new proposed text to temporarily suspend Iran's oil sanctions "during the negotiation period," contrary to previous texts. According to this source, the Americans have agreed to a "temporary suspension" (Waive) of Iran's oil sanctions. "Waive" means a temporary exemption or waiver from the enforcement of sanctions and does not imply a complete and permanent cancellation of them.

Based on this report, the Iranian negotiating team continues to emphasize that the lifting of all sanctions on Iran must be part of the U.S. commitments. In contrast, Washington has proposed that the exemptions related to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury) be applied only until a final agreement is reached.

According to Tasnim, this change in the new U.S. text compared to previous proposals represents a new development in the negotiation process.

♦️خبرگزاری تسنیم وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، روز دوشنبه ۲۸ اردیبهشت، به نقل از یک منبع نزدیک به تیم مذاکره‌کننده گزارش داد آمریکا در متن جدید پیشنهادی خود، برخلاف متون پیشین، پذیرفته است تحریم‌های نفتی ایران را «در طول دوره مذاکرات» به‌طور موقت تعلیق کند.
به گفته این منبع، آمریکایی‌ها در متن جدید با «تعلیق موقت» (Waive) تحریم‌های نفتی ایران موافقت کرده‌اند. «ویو» به معنای معافیت یا چشم‌پوشی موقت از اجرای تحریم‌ها است و به معنای لغو کامل و دائمی آن‌ها محسوب نمی‌شود.
بر اساس این گزارش، تیم مذاکره‌کننده ایرانی همچنان بر این موضع تاکید دارد که لغو همه تحریم‌های ایران باید بخشی از تعهدات آمریکا باشد. در مقابل، واشنگتن پیشنهاد داده است معافیت‌های مرتبط با اوفک (دفتر کنترل دارایی‌های خارجی وزارت خزانه‌داری آمریکا) تنها تا زمان دستیابی به تفاهم نهایی اعمال شود.
به گزارش تسنیم، این تغییر در متن جدید آمریکا نسبت به پیشنهادهای قبلی، تحول تازه‌ای در روند مذاکرات به شمار می‌رود.
