The Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported on Tuesday, May 28, citing "a source close to the negotiating team" of the Islamic Republic, that Tehran "has delivered its latest text in 14 points through a Pakistani intermediary, who will present it to the Americans."

Just hours before this news was published, Reuters reported, citing a Pakistani official, that Islamabad had delivered a revised proposal from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Washington on Sunday night.

Al-Arabiya reported on Tuesday, May 28, based on "leaked details" from the latest proposed version from Iran to the U.S., about a series of new demands and proposals from Tehran focusing on a ceasefire, the Strait of Hormuz, and the nuclear issue.

According to this report, Iran has called for a long-term, multi-phase ceasefire and has also requested that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz be done gradually and with security guarantees.

Based on this information, Tehran has agreed to a long-term halt of nuclear activities instead of a complete dismantling of its nuclear program. It has also been proposed that the transfer of enriched uranium reserves, instead of to the U.S., be conditionally done to Russia.

Al-Arabiya also reported that Iran has backed away from demanding compensation but, instead, is seeking economic facilities and concessions.

According to this report, Iran is also seeking several international guarantees for any potential agreement and is trying to separate the maritime issue and the Strait of Hormuz from the complexities related to the nuclear negotiations.

In another part of this report, it is mentioned that Tehran has called for the involvement of Pakistan and Oman in managing any potential tensions or friction in the Strait of Hormuz and emphasizes the use of language and a political framework that would allow for the "preservation of the political image of the Islamic Republic."

خبرگزاری تسنیم، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، روز دوشنبه ۲۸ اردیبهشت ماه به نقل از «یک منبع نزدیک به تیم مذاکره‌کننده» جمهوری اسلامی نوشت که تهران «جدیدترین متن خود را در ۱۴ بند به واسطه پاکستانی تحویل داده است و میانجی پاکستانی آن را به آمریکایی‌ها ارائه می‌کند.»
ساعتی پیش از انتشار این خبر رویترز به نقل از یک مقام پاکستانی گزارش کرده بود که اسلام‌آباد یکشنبه شب طرح پیشنهادی اصلاح‌شده جمهوری اسلامی ایران را به واشنگتن تحویل داده است.

خبرگزاری العربیه، روز دوشنبه ۲۸ اردیبهشت ماه، بر اساس «جزئیات درزکرده» از آخرین نسخه پیشنهادی ایران به آمریکا، از مجموعه‌ای از خواسته‌ها و پیشنهادهای تازه تهران که بر آتش‌بس، تنگه هرمز و پرونده هسته‌ای تمرکز دارد، خبر داد.
طبق این گزارش، ایران خواستار یک آتش‌بس طولانی‌مدت و چندمرحله‌ای شده و همچنین درخواست کرده بازگشایی تنگه هرمز به‌صورت تدریجی و با تضمین‌های امنیتی انجام شود.
بر پایه این اطلاعات، تهران به‌جای برچیدن کامل برنامه هسته‌ای، با یک توقف طولانی‌مدت فعالیت‌های هسته‌ای موافقت کرده است. همچنین پیشنهاد شده انتقال ذخایر اورانیوم غنی‌شده به‌جای آمریکا، به‌صورت مشروط به روسیه انجام شود.
العربیه همچنین گزارش داده ایران از مطالبه دریافت غرامت عقب‌نشینی کرده، اما به‌جای آن خواستار تسهیلات و امتیازات اقتصادی شده است.
بر اساس این گزارش، ایران همچنین خواهان دریافت چندین تضمین بین‌المللی برای هرگونه توافق احتمالی است و تلاش دارد پرونده دریایی و موضوع تنگه هرمز را از پیچیدگی‌های مربوط به مذاکرات هسته‌ای جدا کند.
در بخش دیگری از این گزارش آمده است تهران خواستار نقش‌آفرینی پاکستان و عمان در مدیریت هرگونه تنش یا اصطکاک احتمالی در تنگه هرمز شده و همچنین بر استفاده از ادبیات و چارچوب سیاسی‌ای تاکید دارد که امکان «حفظ وجهه سیاسی جمهوری اسلامی» را فراهم کند
