The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister says that Tehran, in its recent proposals to the U.S. for ending the war between the two countries, has demanded the right to enrichment, the cessation of hostilities on all fronts including Lebanon, and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the surrounding area of Iran.

Kazem Gharibabadi, who attended a meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament on Tuesday, May 29, to present a report on the negotiations between Tehran and Washington, stated that other conditions of Iran include "lifting the U.S. maritime blockade, releasing Iranian assets and properties, compensating for damages caused by the war by the United States for reconstruction, and ending all unilateral sanctions and Security Council resolutions."

معاون وزیر خارجه ایران می‌گوید تهران در پیشنهادهای اخیر خود به آمریکا برای پایان جنگ میان دو کشور، خواستار برخورداری از حق غنی‌سازی، خاتمه جنگ در تمام جبهه‌ها از جمله لبنان و خروج نیروهای آمریکایی از محیط پیرامونی ایران شده است.

کاظم غریب‌آبادی که روز سه‌شنبه ۲۹ اردیبهشت برای ارائه گزارشی در مورد روند مذاکرات میان تهران و واشینگتن، در کمیسیون امنیت ملی و سیاست خارجی مجلس حاضر شده بود، از دیگر شروط ایران را «رفع محاصرهٔ دریایی آمریکا، آزادسازی اموال و دارایی‌های ایران، تأمین خسارت‌های وارد شده در جنگ توسط ایالات متحده جهت بازسازی و خاتمه تمامی تحریم‌های یکجانبه و قطعنامه‌های شورای امنیت» اعلام کرد.
