Human rights media reported that the Tehran Criminal Court, after re-examining the Ekbatan neighborhood case, sentenced three detained protesters in this case to blood money and five years in prison, while acquitting three other protesters of the charge of "premeditated murder." The death sentences for these six individuals had previously been overturned by the Supreme Court.

The Harana website reported on Wednesday, May 30, that Branch 13 of the Tehran Criminal Court sentenced Milad Arman, Alireza Kafayi, and Amir Mohammad Khoshghab to punishment for "participation in the premeditated murder" of Arman Ali-Vardi, a member of the Basij forces. Each of them has been sentenced to pay an equal share of the full blood money for a human life and five years in prison.

According to Harana's report, Navid Najaran, Hossein Naimati, and Alireza Barmarzpournak, the three other defendants in this case, were acquitted of the charge of participation in premeditated murder due to "lack of evidence indicating a blow to a specific area of Ali-Vardi's body."

This ruling was issued on February 4 of last year and was communicated to the lawyers of these individuals on Tuesday, May 29.

These six protesting citizens had been sentenced to death by the same branch in November 2023.

رسانه‌های حقوق بشری گزارش دادند دادگاه کیفری تهران پس از رسیدگی دوباره به پرونده شهرک اکباتان، سه معترض بازداشت‌شده در این پرونده را به دیه و پنج سال حبس محکوم و سه معترض دیگر را از اتهام مشارکت در «قتل عمد» تبرئه کرد. حکم اعدام این شش تن پیش‌تر در دیوان عالی کشور نقض شده بود.

سایت هرانا چهارشنبه ۳۰ اردیبهشت گزارش داد شعبه ۱۳ دادگاه کیفری یک استان تهران، میلاد آرمون، علیرضا کفایی و امیرمحمد خوش‌اقبال را بابت اتهام «مشارکت در قتل عمد» آرمان علی‌وردی، از نیروهای بسیج، محکوم کرد. هر یک از آن‌ها به پرداخت سهم مساوی از دیه کامل یک انسان و پنج سال حبس محکوم شده‌اند.

طبق گزارش هرانا، نوید نجاران، حسین نعمتی و علیرضا برمرزپورناک، سه متهم دیگر این پرونده، به دلیل «فقدان مدارک دال بر وارد کردن ضربه به ناحیه مشخصی از بدن علی‌وردی» از اتهام مشارکت در قتل عمد تبرئه شدند.

این حکم ۱۵ بهمن سال گذشته صادر و سه‌شنبه ۲۹ اردیبهشت به وکلای این افراد ابلاغ شده است.

این شش شهروند معترض در آبان ۱۴۰۳ از سوی همین شعبه به اعدام محکوم شده بودند.
