In the midst of disruptions in official trade routes and pressure on the supply chain of industries, the Iranian Trade Development Organization has announced the authorization of importing certain petrochemical and polymer raw materials through smuggling and seafaring methods.

This decision indicates that the crisis of raw material supply in downstream industries has reached a point where the government has resorted to border and unconventional routes to compensate for shortages.

However, this decision raises serious questions. Polymer and petrochemical raw materials are not simple consumer goods; their import requires large volumes, quality control, standards, traceability, insurance, specialized transportation, and regular commercial settlement.

در میانه اختلال در مسیرهای رسمی تجارت و فشار بر زنجیره تأمین صنایع، سازمان توسعه تجارت ایران واردات برخی مواد اولیه پتروشیمی و پلیمری را از طریق رویه‌های کولبری و ملوانی مجاز اعلام کرد.

این تصمیم نشان می‌دهد بحران تأمین مواد اولیه در صنایع پایین‌دستی به مرحله‌ای رسیده که حکومت برای جبران کمبود، به مسیرهای مرزی و غیرمتعارف متوسل شده است.

اما این تصمیم پرسش‌های جدی ایجاد می‌کند. مواد اولیه پلیمری و پتروشیمی کالای مصرفی ساده نیستند؛ واردات آنها نیازمند حجم بالا، کنترل کیفیت، استاندارد، ردیابی منشأ، بیمه، حمل‌ونقل تخصصی و تسویه تجاری منظم است.
