On Wednesday, May 30, the price of oil fell by more than five percent following optimistic remarks from Donald Trump regarding negotiations with the Islamic Republic.
Brent crude prices reached $105.70 as traders reacted to signs indicating that Washington and Tehran are getting closer to an agreement that could prevent a new wave of attacks and reduce concerns about long-term supply disruptions in the Middle East.
Trump stated that negotiations with the Islamic Republic are in the "final stages," but warned that if Tehran does not agree to a peace deal, the U.S. may carry out more attacks.
