Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on Wednesday evening that he is willing to wait "a few days" for Iran's response to Washington's proposal regarding the end of the war agreement, but warned that this response must be "100 percent correct."

After speaking to a group of military students, he told reporters that if Iran's response is not correct, tensions will escalate quickly, adding: "We are ready to move forward. We need 100 percent correct and good answers."

Trump announced that the U.S. is currently dealing with "very good" individuals from the Iranian side who have "talent and mental power"; individuals who, according to him, have replaced the previous leaders of Iran.

These remarks came shortly after the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that Tehran is reviewing the new proposal from the U.S.

This proposal has reached the officials of the Islamic Republic through Islamabad, coinciding with the visit of Pakistan's Interior Minister to Tehran.

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، شامگاه چهارشنبه گفت حاضر است «چند روز» برای رسیدن پاسخ ایران به پیشنهاد واشینگتن درباره توافق پایان جنگ صبر کند اما هشدار داد که این پاسخ باید «۱۰۰ درصد درست» باشد.

او بعد از سخنرانی در جمع دانشجویان نظامی به خبرنگاران گفت اگر پاسخ ایران درست نباشد، تشدید تنش به سرعت رخ می‌دهد و افزود: «ما آماده پیش‌روی هستیم. باید جواب‌های ۱۰۰ درصد درست و خوبی بگیریم.»
ترامپ اعلام کرد که آمریکا در حال حاضر با افراد «خیلی خوبی» از طرف ایرانی مواجه است که «استعداد و قدرت ذهن» دارند؛ افرادی که به گفته او جایگزین رهبران پیشین ایران شده‌اند.

این اظهارات ساعتی بعد از آن است که سخنگوی وزارت خارجه ایران اعلام کرد تهران در حال بررسی طرح پیشنهادی جدید آمریکا است.

این طرح توسط اسلام‌آباد به دست مقام‌های جمهوری اسلامی رسیده است؛ همزمان با سفر وزیر کشور پاکستان به تهران.
