The judiciary of the Islamic Republic executed two prisoners on charges of membership in "separatist terrorist groups" and "armed uprising through the formation of criminal groups."

The official organ of Iran's judiciary, Mizan, identified the two individuals as Ramin Zaleh and Karim Maroofpour, stating that they were executed on the morning of Thursday, May 31.

Mizan reported that Ramin Zaleh "had been tasked by the group after undergoing training to participate as a leader in the unrest in the country." The official organ of Iran's judiciary also mentioned that the two had "confessed" to having "collaborated" to "assassinate the commander of a Revolutionary Guard base in one of the western counties" and that they had been "keeping weapons" for this purpose.

Since the attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran, the Islamic Republic has increased the implementation of death sentences, executing several individuals on some days.

قوه قضائیه جمهوری اسلامی دو زندانی را به اتهام عضویت در «گروه‌های تروریستی تجزیه‌طلب» و «قیام مسلحانه از طریق تشکیل گروه‌های مجرمانه» اعدام کرد.

ارگان رسمی دستگاه قضایی ایران، میزان، هویت این دو نفر را رامین زله و کریم معروف‌پور معرفی کرده و نوشته که آنها صبح روز پنج‌شنبه، ۳۱ اردیبهشت، اعدام شدند.

میزان نوشته که رامین زله «پس از طی دوره‌های آموزشی از طرف گروهک ماموریت پیدا کرده بود تا در ناآرامی‌های کشور به عنوان لیدر شرکت کند».
ارگان رسمی قوه قضائیه ایران همچنین نوشته که این دو نفر «اعتراف» کرده بودند که «برای ترور فرمانده پایگاه سپاه یکی از شهرستان‌های غرب کشور» با یکدیگر «همکاری» داشته و برای این کار، «سلاح» نگهداری می‌کردند.

از زمان حملات آمریکا و اسرائیل به ایران، جمهوری اسلامی اجرای احکام اعدام را افزایش داده است و در برخی روزها چند نفر را اعدام کرده است.
