Donald Trump, the President of the United States, emphasized in a conversation with reporters at the White House that no ship is allowed to enter or exit Iran without the approval of the United States, and the U.S. Navy has performed exceptionally in this regard.

Trump pointed to the heavy financial losses incurred by the Islamic Republic as a result of these actions, stating: "According to forecasts, they are losing $500 million a day; that's a very large amount, and whether it's $200, $300, or $500 million, they are losing a significant amount of money."

The U.S. President stressed the necessity of freedom of navigation, adding: "Our demand is that this international waterway remains open and free. The Strait of Hormuz is an international maritime route; no one should impose fees on it, and we will not allow such a thing."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهور آمریکا، در گفتگو با خبرنگاران در کاخ سفید تاکید کرد که هیچ کشتی‌ای بدون تایید ایالات متحده اجازه ورود به ایران یا خروج از آن را ندارد و نیروی دریایی آمریکا در این زمینه عملکرد فوق‌العاده‌ای داشته است.

ترامپ با اشاره به خسارت‌های سنگین مالی جمهوری اسلامی در پی این اقدامات گفت: «بر اساس پیش‌بینی‌ها، آن‌ها روزانه ۵۰۰ میلیون دلار ضرر می‌کنند؛ رقم بسیار زیادی است و چه ۲۰۰، ۳۰۰ یا ۵۰۰ میلیون دلار باشد، آن‌ها در حال از دست دادن پول گزافی هستند.»

رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا با تاکید بر لزوم آزادی کشتیرانی افزود: «خواسته ما این است که این آبراه بین‌المللی، باز و آزاد باشد. تنگه هرمز یک مسیر دریایی بین‌المللی است، هیچ‌کس نباید در آن عوارض وضع کند و ما اجازه چنین کاری را نخواهیم داد.»
