According to reports from Pakistani state media, Field Marshal Asim Munir, the commander of the country's army, has traveled to Tehran.

The Associated Press of Pakistan, citing security sources, reported that Field Marshal Asim Munir will discuss "ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States, regional peace and stability, and other mutual interests" with Iranian officials during this official visit.

The commander of the Pakistani army was also in Tehran forty days ago, where he met and discussed with Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and members of the Iran-U.S. negotiation team.

This comes as Pakistan's interior minister has also traveled to Tehran for the second time in the past week and is currently in discussions with Iranian officials.

به گزارش رسانه‌های دولتی پاکستان، فیلد مارشال عاصم منیر،‌ فرمانده ارتش این کشور راهی تهران شده است.

خبرگزاری اسوشیتد پرس پاکستان به نقل از منابع امنیتی گزارش داده است که فیلد مارشال عاصم منیر در طول این سفر رسمی، درباره «مذاکرات جاری ایران و آمریکا و صلح و ثبات منطقه‌ و منافع دوجانبه دیگر» با مقام‌های ایران گفت‌و‌گو خواهد کرد.

فرمانده ارتش پاکستان چهل روز پیش هم در تهران بود و با محمدباقر قالیباف و اعضای تیم مذاکره‌ ایران و آمریکا دیدار و گفت‌وگو کرده بود.

این در حالی است که وزیر کشور پاکستان هم برای دومین بار طی هفته اخیر به تهران رفته و در حال گفت‌وگو با مقامات ایرانی است.
