According to Axios, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, met with his senior national security team at the White House on Friday to discuss various scenarios in the event of failed negotiations and the potential for new attacks against Iran.

Sources close to Trump say he is frustrated with the slow pace of negotiations and is leaning towards military options, although no definitive decision has been made to resume war.

Meanwhile, Tehran has become the focal point of "last-minute" diplomatic efforts to prevent the rekindling of war. General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, has arrived in Tehran as the main mediator and is set to meet with Ahmad Vahidi, one of the key commanders of the Revolutionary Guard.

در این نشست حساس که با حضور مقامات کلیدی از جمله جِی‌دی ونس، معاون رئیس‌جمهوری، پیت هگست، وزیر جنگ و جان راتکلیف، رئیس سی‌آی‌ای، برگزار شد، ترامپ در جریان آخرین وضعیت دیپلماسی قرار گرفت.
