Al Jazeera's reporter, citing "their sources," announced the key provisions of a draft agreement that is set to be finalized between Washington and Tehran.

The Al Jazeera reporter claimed that the proposed agreement includes "the end of the war on all fronts, including Lebanon," "the release of several billion dollars of Iran's frozen assets," "the lifting of the U.S. maritime blockade and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz," as well as "the withdrawal of U.S. forces from near Iran's borders."

After these steps are implemented, the parties will have a 30-day deadline, which can be extended by mutual agreement, to reach an agreement on the nuclear issue, during which time transit through the Strait of Hormuz will also be facilitated. According to this reporter, from Iran's perspective, the management of the Strait of Hormuz is considered a bilateral issue between Tehran and Muscat, and discussions on this matter are ongoing with Oman.

خبرنگار الجزیره به نقل از «منابع خود»، مفاد کلیدی پیش‌نویس توافقی را که قرار است میان واشنگتن و تهران نهایی شود را اعلام کرد.

خبرنگار الجزیره مدعی شد، توافق پیشنهادی شامل «پایان جنگ در تمامی جبهه‌ها از جمله لبنان»، «آزادسازی چندین میلیارد دلار از دارایی‌های مسدودشده ایران»، «رفع محاصره دریایی آمریکا و بازگشایی تنگه هرمز» و همچنین «عقب‌نشینی نیروهای آمریکایی از مجاورت مرزهای ایران» است.

پس از اجرای این گام‌ها، طرفین یک مهلت ۳۰ روزه، که با توافق دوطرفه قابل تمدید است، خواهند داشت تا درباره مسئله هسته‌ای به توافق برسند که در طول این مدت نیز تردد از تنگه هرمز تسهیل خواهد شد.
به گفته این خبرنگار، از نظر ایران، مدیریت تنگه هرمز یک موضوع دوجانبه میان تهران و مسقط تلقی می‌شود و گفتگوها در این زمینه با عمان در جریان است.
