A large explosion near a train passing through the Chaman crossing in Quetta city, Balochistan province of Pakistan, has left many dead and dozens injured.
A senior police official in Balochistan and a provincial official told Mohammad Kazem, a BBC Urdu reporter, that the deaths of 20 people in this explosion have been confirmed so far, and at least 70 others have been injured.
Images released after the incident show several vehicles on fire near the railway line, and train carriages have also derailed on the tracks.
The separatist group "Baloch Liberation Army" has claimed responsibility for the attack.

انفجاری بزرگ در نزدیکی یک قطار که از گذرگاه چمن در شهر کویته در ایالت بلوچستان پاکستان عبور میکرد، تعداد زیادی کشته و دهها نفر زخمی برجا گذاشت.
یک مقام ارشد پلیس بلوچستان و یکی از مسئولان این ایالت به محمد کاظم، خبرنگار بیبیسی اردو، گفت تاکنون کشته شدن ۲۰ نفر در این انفجار تأیید شده و دستکم ۷۰ نفر زخمی شدهاند.
تصاویر منتشرشده پس از حادثه نشان میدهد که چندین خودرو در نزدیکی خط آهن آتش گرفتهاند و واگنهای قطار نیز روی ریل واژگون شدهاند.
گروه جداییطلب «ارتش آزادیبخش بلوچ» مسئولیت این حمله را به عهده گرفته است.
