Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated in a message on the social media platform Truth Social that a potential agreement with Iran will either be "great and meaningful" or there will essentially be no agreement at all.

In this message, Mr. Trump criticized his opponents among Democrats and some Republicans, saying they know "nothing" about his potential agreement with Iran and even comment on topics that, according to him, "have not yet been negotiated."

Trump emphasized that his desired agreement with Iran will be "exactly the opposite" of the nuclear deal known as the JCPOA; a deal he once again called a "disaster" and accused Barack Obama's administration of opening a "direct and clear path" for Iran towards nuclear weapons.

At the end of his message, he wrote: "I don't make deals like that."

آقای ترامپ در این پیام، منتقدان خود در میان دموکرات‌ها و برخی جمهوری‌خواهان را به باد انتقاد گرفت و گفت آنان «هیچ چیز» دربارهٔ توافق احتمالی او با ایران نمی‌دانند و حتی دربارهٔ موضوعاتی اظهار نظر می‌کنند که به گفتهٔ او «هنوز مذاکره نشده‌اند».

ترامپ تأکید کرد توافق مورد نظر او با ایران «دقیقاً نقطهٔ مقابل» توافق هسته‌ای برجام خواهد بود؛ توافقی که او بار دیگر آن را «فاجعه» خواند و دولت باراک اوباما را به گشودن «مسیر مستقیم و آشکار» ایران به سوی جنگ‌افزار هسته‌ای متهم کرد.

او در پایان پیام خود نوشت: «من چنین توافق‌هایی نمی‌کنم.»
