Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in his latest message on his social media platform on Monday, announced "good" progress in negotiations with Iran and urged all countries involved in these talks to immediately join the Abraham Accords after reaching an agreement with Iran.

The Abraham Accords were an initiative that Donald Trump started during his first term to normalize relations between Arabs and Israel, successfully encouraging several countries, including Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, to participate.

Now, the U.S. President has linked the process of reaching an agreement with the Islamic Republic to this initiative and has stated that he has presented this "mandatory request" to other Gulf Arab countries as well as Turkey, urging them to join the Abraham Accords promptly and simultaneously.

Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that Iran's joining the Abraham Accords could become a "historic event." He added that in discussions with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain, he emphasized that all these countries need to sign the Abraham Accords simultaneously to normalize relations with Israel.

Trump wrote: "The countries discussed include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (which is currently a member), Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (which is currently a member). One or two countries may have reasons for not doing this, and that will be accepted, but most of them should be ready, willing, and able to turn this agreement with Iran into a much more historic event than it otherwise would be."

دونالد ترامپ، رئیس جمهور آمریکا، روز دوشنبه در تازه‌ترین پیام خود در شبکه اجتماعی‌اش ضمن خبر دادن از پیشرفت «خوب» در مذاکره با ایران، از تمام کشورهای دخیل در این مذاکرات خواست پس از حصول توافق با ایران، بلافاصله به پیمان‌های ابراهیم بپیوندند.

پیمان یا پیمان‌های ابراهیم طرحی بود که دونالد ترامپ در دوره اول خود برای تلاش در راه عادی‌سازی روابط میان اعراب و اسرائیل آغاز کرد و موفق شد تا چندین کشور از جمله بحرین و امارات متحده عربی را هم به این کار ترغیب کند.

حال رئیس جمهور آمریکا روند توافق با جمهوری اسلامی را به این طرح پیوند زده و به گفته خود این «خواسته اجباری» را با دیگر کشورهای عرب خلیج فارس و همین طور ترکیه مطرح کرده که به‌فوریت و همزمان به پیمان ابراهیم بپیوندند.

او افزود که در گفت‌وگو با سران عربستان سعودی، امارات متحده عربی، قطر، ترکیه، مصر، اردن و بحرین، تاکید کرده لازم است همه این کشورها به‌طور هم‌زمان پیمان ابراهیم را برای عادی‌سازی روابط با اسرائیل امضا کنند.
