The Central Command of the U.S. forces - CENTCOM - has stated: "U.S. forces today (Monday) conducted defensive strikes in southern Iran to protect our forces from threats posed by Iranian forces."

The CENTCOM statement mentioned: "The targets of these strikes included missile launch sites and Iranian boats attempting to lay mines. The U.S. Central Command continues to defend its forces while exercising restraint during the ongoing ceasefire."

Iran has not yet officially reacted to this report, but some Iranian sites reported that two speedboats of the Revolutionary Guard were targeted near the shores of the Persian Gulf, resulting in the deaths of several crew members.

Late Monday night, Iranian time, some residents of Bandar Abbas and cities along the Persian Gulf reported hearing several explosions and anti-aircraft defense activity.

Official media also confirmed these reports but stated that the cause of the explosions is unclear.

This is about the same events from 24 hours ago, the news of which is just being published, but many sources are presenting it as if it relates to the current hours.

It is likely that that Trump post where he shared an image of the destroyed boats with the Islamic Republic flag and wrote "Goodbye," was referring to this incident at that time.

رماندهی مرکزی نیروهای آمریکا - سنتکام - در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرده است: «نیروهای آمریکا امروز (دوشنبه) در جنوب ایران حملات دفاعی از خود انجام دادند تا از نیروهای ما در برابر تهدیدهای ناشی از نیروهای ایرانی محافظت شود»

در بیانیه سنتکام آمده: «اهداف این حملات شامل سایت های پرتاب موشک و قایق های ایرانی بود که تلاش می‌کردند مین‌گذاری کنند. فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا ضمن خویشتن‌داری در طول آتش بس جاری، همچنان به دفاع از نیروهای خود ادامه می‌دهد.»

ایران هنوز واکنشی رسمی به این گزارش نشان نداده است، اما برخی از سایت‌های ایرانی از هدف قرار گرفتن دو قایق تندرو سپاه در نزدیکی سواحل خلیج فارس و کشته شدن چند نفر از سرنشینان این قایق‌ها خبر دادند.

نیمه شب دوشنبه به وقت ایران،‌ برخی از ساکنان بندرعباس و شهرهای حاشیه خلیج فارس، از شنیده شدن چند انفجار و فعالیت پدافند ضدهوایی خبر داده بودند.

رسانه‌های رسمی هم این گزارش‌ها را تایید کردند اما اعلام کرده بودند که علت این انفجارها مشخص نیست.

درباره همون وقایع ۲۴ ساعت پیشه که اخبارش تازه داره منتشر میشه ولی بسیاری از منابع جوری جلوه میدن انگار مربوط به ساعت‌های الانه.

احتمالا اون پست ترامپ هم که تصویری از قایق‌های مهندم شده با پرچم جمهوری اسلامی گذاشته بود و نوشته بود «خداحافظ»، در اشاره به همین واقعه همون موقع بوده.
