The spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry says that reports claiming the government of this country offered $12 billion to the Islamic Republic to ensure the finalization of an agreement with Iran are "completely unfounded."

Majid Al-Ansari wrote on X network on Tuesday, June 25, that these reports are "published by parties seeking to disrupt the agreement and undermine diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and strengthening stability in the region."

He added that Qatar's diplomatic efforts, conducted in "coordination" with regional partners, are "well-known and transparent."

Majid Al-Ansari described the dissemination of such narratives as "desperate attempts to tarnish the credibility" of the Qatari government, which he stated is "a reliable international actor on the path to achieving peace."

ماجد الانصاری سه‌شنبه پنجم خرداد در شبکه ایکس نوشته که این گزارش‌ها «توسط طرف‌هایی منتشر می‌شوند که به دنبال برهم زدن توافق و تضعیف تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک با هدف کاهش تنش‌ها و تقویت ثبات در منطقه‌اند.»

او افزوده که تلاش‌های دیپلماتیک قطر که با «هماهنگی» شرکای منطقه‌ای انجام می‌شود، «شناخته‌شده و شفاف است».

ماجد الانصاری انتشار این دست روایت‌ها را «تلاش‌های مذبوحانه برای خدشه‌دار کردن اعتبار» دولت قطر نامیده که به گفته او به‌عنوان «یک بازیگر بین‌المللی قابل اعتماد در مسیر دستیابی به صلح» است.
