The Tasnim News Agency claimed on Tuesday, citing its sources, that according to the 14-article memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, Iran's blocked resources, amounting to $24 billion, must be released during the negotiations.

As reported by this media outlet close to the Revolutionary Guard, citing "an informed source close to the negotiating team," Iran insists that half of this amount should be made available at the start of the negotiations, with the remainder to be transferred within 60 days.

The report states that the recent visit of Abbas Araghchi and Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf to Qatar was also aimed at reaching an agreement on implementing this demand and how to access $12 billion in the first step while removing obstacles.

At the same time, Ahmad Bakhshaei Ardestani, a member of the National Security Commission of the Parliament, claimed that a few days ago, $12 billion of Iran's blocked resources was supposed to be transferred through Russia, but the Americans prevented this transfer.

No official from the U.S. government has yet confirmed these claims.

خبرگزاری تسنیم، روز سه‌شنبه، به نقل از منابع خود مدعی شد که طبق متن ۱۴ ماده‌ای یادداشت تفاهم بین ایران و آمریکا، منابع بلوکه‌شده ایران، به میزان ۲۴ میلیارد دلار باید در طول مذاکرات آزاد شود.

آنطور که این رسانه نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران از قول « یک منبع آگاه نزدیک به تیم مذاکره‌کننده» گزارش داده، ایران تأکید دارد که نصف این مبلغ باید با شروع مذاکرات، در دسترس قرار گیرد، و بقیه در طول ۶۰ روز منتقل شود.

این گزارش می‌گوید که سفر اخیر عباس عراقچی و محمدباقر قالیباف به قطر هم برای تفاهم دربارهٔ اجرایی‌سازی این مطالبه، و نحوه دسترسی به ۱۲ میلیارد دلار در گام اول و رفع موانع بوده است.

همزمان، احمد بخشایش اردستانی، عضو کمیسیون امنیت ملی مجلس، مدعی شد که چند روز پیش، قرار بود ۱۲ میلیارد دلار از منابع مسدودشده ایران، از طریق روسیه وارد شود، ولی آمریکایی‌ها مانع این انتقال شدند.

هنوز هیچ مقام رسمی در دولت آمریکا، این ادعاها را تأیید نکرده است.
