He added that the U.S. has control over the funds that the Islamic Republic claims belong to it and will maintain that control. Trump said that when the Islamic Republic "behaves properly" and "does the right thing," access to this money will be granted, but "we are not doing that right now" and "these two issues are not linked."

Trump also expressed his disapproval of transferring enriched uranium, stating he does not agree with transferring Iran's enriched uranium reserves to Russia or China.

In response to a question about Tehran and Oman's control over the Strait of Hormuz, Donald Trump said the strait will be open to all and is considered international waters. He emphasized that no one will control it and the U.S. will oversee it. Trump added that control of the strait is part of the negotiations, and Iran wishes to take control of it, but that will not happen. He also mentioned that Oman will behave like others, and otherwise, the U.S. will be forced to blow them up.

دونالد ترامپ درباره لغو یا کاهش تحریم‌های جمهوری اسلامی گفت واشینگتن «درباره هیچ‌گونه کاهش تحریم‌ها یا دادن پول» صحبت نمی‌کند و تاکید کرد: «هیچ تحریمی، هیچ پولی، هیچ چیزی.»
او افزود آمریکا کنترل پولی را که جمهوری اسلامی ادعا می‌کند متعلق به خود است در اختیار دارد و این کنترل را حفظ خواهد کرد. ترامپ گفت زمانی که جمهوری اسلامی «رفتار درستی» داشته باشد و «کار درست را انجام دهد»، اجازه دسترسی به این پول داده خواهد شد، اما «در حال حاضر چنین کاری انجام نمی‌دهیم» و «این دو موضوع به هم وابسته نیستند.»
ترامپ همچنین درباره انتقال اورانیوم غنی‌شده گفت با انتقال ذخایر اورانیوم غنی‌شده ایران به روسیه یا چین موافق نیست.

ترامپ افزود کنترل تنگه بخشی از مذاکرات است و ایران تمایل دارد آن را در اختیار بگیرد، اما چنین اتفاقی نخواهد افتاد. او درباره عمان نیز گفت این کشور مانند دیگران رفتار خواهد کرد و در غیر این صورت آمریکا مجبور خواهد شد آن‌ها را منفجر کند.
