The Associated Press reported, citing U.S. officials, that U.S. Central Command forces shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones that posed a threat near the Strait of Hormuz and targeted a ground control station in Bandar Abbas that was on the verge of launching a fifth drone.

Meanwhile, the Tasnim news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guard, quoted an informed source as saying: "A few hours ago, an American oil tanker attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz by turning off its radar system, but was forced to stop and turn back due to the swift and decisive action of the Revolutionary Guard Navy, which fired at it."

Tasnim reported on the U.S. airstrike on locations east of Bandar Abbas, stating that U.S. forces "fired at a scorched area around Bandar Abbas, and the sounds of explosions were related to this incident; this firing caused no casualties or financial damage."
