پس از انتشار پیامی منسوب به مجتبی خامنه‌ای درباره «نابودی اسرائیل تا ۱۵ سال آینده»، رسانه‌های ایران تصویری از دیوارنگاره جدید در میدان فلسطین تهران منتشر کردند که بر آن جمله «اسرائیل ۱۵ سال آینده را نخواهد دید» نوشته شده است.

سپاه پاسداران روز پنجشنبه هفتم خردادماه با انتشار بیانیه‌ای به مناسبت کشته شدن محمد عوده و عزالدین حداد، دو فرمانده حماس اعلام کرد منطقه جز با محو اسرائیل روی آرامش نمی‌بیند.
