Axios reported, citing U.S. officials, that American and Islamic Republic negotiators have reached a 60-day memorandum of understanding to extend the ceasefire and begin negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program, but Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has not yet given final approval to the text.

Unnamed U.S. officials told the media that the terms of the agreement were nearly finalized by Tuesday, but both sides still needed to obtain approval from their senior officials. U.S. officials added that the Iranian side has indicated it has received the necessary approvals and is ready to sign. Tehran has not yet confirmed this matter.

Axios wrote that American negotiators reported the final details of the agreement to Trump, who requested a few days to think it over.

اکسیوس به نقل از مقامات آمریکایی گزارش داد که مذاکره‌کنندگان آمریکا و جمهوری اسلامی به یک یادداشت تفاهم با مدت ۶۰ روزه برای تمدید آتش‌بس و آغاز مذاکرات درباره برنامه هسته‌ای ایران رسیده‌اند، اما دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، این متن را هنوز تایید نهایی نکرده است.

مقامات آمریکایی که نامشان فاش نشده به این رسانه گفتند که شرایط توافق تا سه‌شنبه تقریبا نهایی شده بود، اما هر دو طرف هنوز نیاز داشتند تایید مقامات ارشد خود را بگیرند.
مقامات آمریکایی افزودند که طرف ایرانی اعلام کرده که تاییدهای لازم را دریافت کرده و آماده امضا است.
تهران هنوز این موضوع را تایید نکرده است.
