On Friday, May 29, the Wall Street Journal revealed in an exclusive report, citing informed sources, that the United Arab Emirates has carried out dozens of airstrikes against positions in Iran during the war.

Sources from the Wall Street Journal indicate that the UAE's role in this military campaign has been "much deeper" than previously reported.

According to the report, these attacks were conducted with full coordination from Washington and Tel Aviv, relying on intelligence provided by them.

The UAE's targets included the islands of Qeshm and Abu Musa in the Strait of Hormuz, Bandar Abbas, the oil refinery on Lavan Island, and the Assaluyeh petrochemical complex. The attacks on Assaluyeh, which were carried out jointly with Israel in response to the Islamic Republic's strikes on the UAE's energy infrastructure, provoked severe international reactions and compelled Washington to urge Israel to cease attacks on energy facilities.

روزنامه وال‌استریت ژورنال روز جمعه هشتم خرداد، در گزارشی اختصاصی به نقل از منابع آگاه فاش کرد که امارات متحده عربی در طول جنگ، ده‌ها حمله هوایی را علیه مواضعی در ایران انجام داده است.

منابع وال‌استریت ژورنال می‌گویند نقش امارات در این کارزار نظامی، «بسیار عمیق‌تر» از آنچه که پیش‌تر گزارش شده، بوده است.

بر اساس این گزارش، این حملات با هماهنگی کامل واشنگتن و تل‌آویو و با اتکا به اطلاعات ارائه‌شده از سوی آن‌ها انجام شده است.

اهداف امارات شامل جزایر قشم و ابوموسی در تنگه هرمز، بندرعباس، پالایشگاه نفت جزیره لاوان و مجتمع پتروشیمی عسلویه بوده است.
حملات به عسلویه که به صورت مشترک با اسرائیل و در پاسخ به ضربات جمهوری اسلامی به زیرساخت‌های انرژی امارات انجام شد، واکنش‌های شدید بین‌المللی را برانگیخت و واشنگتن را وادار کرد از اسرائیل بخواهد حمله به تاسیسات انرژی را متوقف کند.
