NBC reported, citing three knowledgeable sources, that the U.S. F-15E fighter jet, which was shot down in Iran last month, was likely targeted by a Chinese-made shoulder-fired missile.

According to one of these sources and a knowledgeable U.S. official, China may have also provided Iran with a long-range warning radar in the early days of the conflict, which has the capability to detect stealth aircraft.

NBC wrote that U.S. officials are still investigating the downing of the F-15E, and it remains unclear when any potential military equipment was delivered to Tehran.

The White House told NBC that Xi Jinping assured Trump that Beijing would not provide military equipment to Iran. A spokesperson for the Chinese embassy in Washington also stated that Beijing controls military exports "with caution and responsibility" and opposes "baseless accusations."

ان‌بی‌سی به نقل از سه منبع آگاه گزارش داد جنگنده اف-۱۵ای آمریکا که ماه گذشته در ایران سرنگون شد، احتمالا با یک موشک دوش‌پرتاب ساخت چین هدف قرار گرفته است.

به گفته یکی از این منابع و یک مقام آمریکایی آگاه، چین همچنین ممکن است در روزهای نخست درگیری، یک رادار هشداردهنده دوربرد را در اختیار ایران قرار داده باشد که این رادار توانایی شناسایی هواپیماهای رادارگریز را دارد.

ان‌بی‌سی نوشت مقام‌های آمریکایی همچنان در حال بررسی سرنگونی جنگنده اف-۱۵ای هستند و هنوز روشن نیست تجهیزات نظامی احتمالی چه زمانی به تهران تحویل داده شده است.

کاخ سفید به ان‌بی‌سی گفت شی جین‌پینگ به ترامپ اطمینان داده پکن تجهیزات نظامی به ایران نمی‌دهد. سخنگوی سفارت چین در واشینگتن نیز گفت پکن صادرات نظامی را «با احتیاط و مسئولیت‌پذیری» کنترل می‌کند و با «تهمت بی‌اساس» مخالف است.
