The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Sunday that "in the past 24 hours, 28 vessels, including oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial ships, passed through the Strait of Hormuz after obtaining permission and with the coordination and security provided by the Navy of the IRGC."

Earlier, the Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that dozens of oil tankers carrying oil and liquefied natural gas passed through the Strait of Hormuz last week with permission from the United States and after paying fees to Iran.

This comes as the U.S. government has repeatedly stated that it opposes paying fees to Iran for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

نیروی دریایی سپاه پاسداران روز یک‌شنبه اعلام کرد‌ «طی شبانه‌روز گذشته ۲۸ فروند کشتی اعم از نفتکش، کانتینربَر و سایر کشتی‌های تجاری پس از کسب مجوز با هماهنگی و تأمین امنیت نیروی دریایی سپاه از تنگه هرمز عبور کردند.»

ساعتی پیشتر روزنامه اسرائیلی «اسرائیل هیوم» نوشته بود که ده‌ها نفتکش حامل نفت و گاز طبیعی مایع در هفتهٔ گذشته با اجازه آمریکا و پرداخت عوارض به ایران از تنگهٔ هرمز عبور کرده‌اند.

این در حالی است که دولت آمریکا بارها اعلام کرده است با پرداخت عوارض به ایران برای عبور از تنگه هرمز مخالف است.
