Iranian media attributed the occurrence of two explosions, which were reported almost simultaneously in Tehran and Kermanshah late on Sunday, to a gas leak.

The Tasnim news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guard, announced that late on Sunday, a "gas explosion" in the Bahg Abrisham neighborhood of Kermanshah resulted in the injury of 2 people. This site also claimed [by publishing the above photo] that the explosion in a residential unit in "Phase One of Andisheh" in Tehran Province was due to a "gas leak." The ISNA news agency quoted the spokesperson for the Tehran emergency services as saying that this explosion has so far left 6 injured.

رسانه‌های جمهوری اسلامی وقوع دو انفجار را که تقریبا هم‌زمان در تهران و کرمانشاه و در ساعات پایانی یکشنبه گزارش شد به نشت گاز نسبت دادند.

سایت تسنیم، نزدیک به سپاه پاسداران اعلام کرد که در ساعات پایانی روز یکشنبه، «انفجار گاز» در محله باغ ابریشم کرمانشاه باعث مصدومیت ۲ نفر شد.
این سایت‌ همچنین [با انتشار عکس بالا] مدعی شد که انفجار در یک واحد مسکونی در «فاز یک اندیشه» در استان تهران ناشی از «نشت گاز» بوده است.
خبرگزاری ایسنا به نقل از سخنگوی اورژانس استان تهران می‌گوید این انفجار تاکنون ۶ مصدوم بر جای گذاشته است.
