Qaani: Continued attacks on Lebanon and Gaza will turn Bab el-Mandeb into the Strait of Hormuz
Ismail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, wrote in a message published by Iranian state media on Monday evening, June 1, that Israel's war in Lebanon and Gaza "under the brazen support of the United States will strengthen the resolve of the resistance axis to expand support for both fronts, take action to activate other fronts, and align the traffic situation of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait with that of the Strait of Hormuz."
The commander of the Quds Force also warned that continued Israeli operations in southern Lebanon and Gaza would face broader reactions from Hezbollah and Palestinian groups.

اسماعیل قاآنی، فرمانده نیروی قدس سپاه پاسداران، شامگاه دوشنبه ۱۱ خرداد ماه در پیامی که رسانههای دولتی ایران منتشر کردهاند، نوشت جنگ اسرائیل در لبنان و غزه «در سایه حمایتهای وقیحانه آمریکا، عزم محور مقاومت را برای توسعه پشتیبانیها از هر دو جبهه، اقدام برای فعالسازی سایر جبههها و همسانسازی وضعیت ترافیکی تنگه بابالمندب با تنگه هرمز رقم خواهد زد.»
فرمانده نیروی قدس سپاه همچنین هشدار داد که ادامه عملیات اسرائیل در جنوب لبنان و غزه، این کشور را با واکنشهای گستردهتری از سوی حزبالله و گروههای فلسطینی روبهرو خواهد کرد.
