A written message attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei, the third leader of the Islamic Republic, was read at the anniversary ceremony of Ruhollah Khomeini's death in Tehran.

In this message, which was read by Mohammad Javad Haj Ali Akbari, the Friday prayer leader of Tehran, the leader of the Islamic Republic accused the United States and Israel of engaging in a "hybrid war" against Iran, stating that this war is "focused on two points: one is the resilience of the people, and the other is creating disruption in the decision-making apparatus of the country's officials." Mojtaba Khamenei also labeled any actions that he claimed would "cause pessimism and frustration" as "aiding the enemy" and called for "maintaining unity, cohesion, and mutual trust" between the people and the officials of the regime.

Last week, Mojtaba Khamenei had also warned all those he referred to as "sacrificial souls whose hearts beat for Islam and the revolution or for the independence and dignity of Iran" not to turn "unjustified and even justified disagreements into conflict and division."

In another part of this message, Israel was described as "a garrison belonging to the system of domination," emphasizing that this country does not hesitate to take any action to prevent Iran's progress.

The message also stated: "The wicked enemy has suffered defeat in its confrontation with your brave children in the armed forces" and added that the enemy, after what has been described as "a meaningful and profound humiliation," has focused on undermining the resilience of the people and creating errors in the decision-making apparatus of the officials.

In conclusion, the message called on everyone to neutralize the enemy's "evil plot" through steadfastness, clarity of vision, maintaining unity and cohesion, and not aligning with the enemy.

Since the announcement of Mojtaba Khamenei as the third leader of the Islamic Republic, no image or voice of him has been released, and Iranian media only publish written messages from him.

The anniversary ceremony of Ruhollah Khomeini's death, which is held every year on June 4 with a speech from the leader of the Islamic Republic and attended by numerous officials and senior military commanders, was held this year in a very limited manner and without the presence of regime officials.

پیام مکتوب و منسوب به مجتبی خامنه‌ای، سومین رهبر جمهوری اسلامی، در مراسم سالگرد مرگ روح‌الله خمینی در تهران، خوانده شد.

در این پیام که محمدجواد حاج‌علی‌اکبری، امام جمعه تهران، روز پنجشنبه ۱۴خرداد خواند، رهبر جمهوری اسلامی‌ آمریکا و اسرائیل را به «جنگ ترکیبی» با ایران متهم کرد و گفت این جنگ «بر دو نقطه متمرکز است؛ یکی تاب‌آوری مردم و دیگری ایجاد اخلال در دستگاه محاسباتی مسئولان کشور».
مجتبی خامنه‌ای همچنین هرگونه اقدامی که به‌گفتهٔ او «موجب بدبینی و سرخوردگی» شود را «کمک به دشمن» خواند و خواستار «حفظ وحدت و انسجام و اعتماد متقابل» مردم و مسئولان نظام شد.

مجتبی خامنه‌ای هفتهٔ گذشته نیز به تمام کسانی که آن‌ها را «جان‌فدایانی که دل‌شان برای اسلام و انقلاب یا استقلال و سربلندی ایران می‌تپد» نامیده، هشدار داده بود که «اختلافات غیرموجه و حتی موجه را به تنازع و تفرقه تبدیل نکنند».

در بخش دیگری از این پیام، اسرائیل «پادگانی متعلق به نظام سلطه» توصیف شده و تاکید شده است این کشور از هر اقدامی برای جلوگیری از پیشرفت ایران کوتاهی نمی‌کند.

این پیام همچنین اعلام کرده است: «دشمن خبیث در مصاف با فرزندان دلاور شما در نیروهای مسلح دچار شکست شده است» و افزوده است دشمن پس از آنچه «تحقیری پرمعنا و عمیق» خوانده شده، تمرکز خود را بر تضعیف تاب‌آوری مردم و ایجاد خطا در دستگاه محاسباتی مسئولان قرار داده است.

در پایان، در این پیام از همگان خواسته شده است با ایستادگی، روشن‌بینی، حفظ وحدت و انسجام و همصدایی نکردن با دشمن، «نقشه شوم» او را خنثی کنند.

از زمان اعلام نام مجتبی خامنه‌ای، به عنوان سومین رهبر جمهوری اسلامی، تصویر یا صدایی از او منتشر نشده و رسانه‌های ایران فقط پیام‌های کتبی از او منتشر می‌کنند.

مراسم سالگرد مرگ روح‌الله خمینی که هر سال ۱۴ خرداد با سخنرانی رهبر جمهوری اسلامی و با حضور پرشمار مقامات و فرماندهان ارشد نظامی برگزار می‌شد، امسال به‌صورت خیلی محدود و بدون حضور مقامات نظام برگزار شد.
