The public relations office of the IRGC announced early on Saturday in a statement: "Following the attacks by the U.S. military on Sirik and Qeshm Island, enemy bases in the region were hit by aerospace missiles."

In the statement, the IRGC referred to its warning at 1:30 AM on Saturday to four oil tankers intending to exit the Strait of Hormuz, stating that one of these tankers was targeted and stopped, while the other vessels turned back.

According to this statement, at 2:30 AM, U.S. drones targeted a telecommunications tower in Qeshm and another tower in Sirik with two projectiles, to which the IRGC aerospace forces retaliated by attacking the Ali Al-Salem Air Base of the U.S. in Kuwait and the facilities of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with ballistic missiles.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, in a statement noted that there are currently no reports of damage to U.S. forces and denied the IRGC's claims regarding damage to the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.
