وزارت امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی در بیانیهای حمله بامداد شنبه ۱۶ خرداد ۱۴۰۵ ارتش آمریکا به تاسیسات راداری و نظارت ساحلی در منطقه سیریک و جزیره قشم را «نقض آشکار آتشبس» و «تجاوز نظامی علیه حاکمیت ملی و تمامیت سرزمینی ایران» خواند و آن را به شدت محکوم کرد.
در این بیانیه آمده است که تاسیسات هدف قرار گرفته، ماموریت حفاظت از امنیت مرزهای کشور و امنیت کشتیرانی در آبراههای بینالمللی را بر عهده داشتهاند.
