The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement following missile attacks on Israel that the operation on Sunday evening was merely a warning, and if attacks are repeated, the responses will be broader and will encompass all American-Israeli targets in the region.
The statement reads: Our acceptance of the ceasefire on April 8 was conditional on the cessation of fire on all fronts, but as always, the U.S. and Israel did not adhere to their commitments, continuing attacks in Lebanon and repeatedly violating the ceasefire by targeting Iranian shores and vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, and the Indian Ocean.

سپاه پاسداران پس از حملات موشکی به اسرائیل در بیانیهای اعلام کرد عملیات شامگاه یکشنبه صرفا یک اعلام اخطار بود و در صورت تکرار حملات، پاسخها گستردهتر خواهد بود و تمام اهداف آمریکایی-اسرائیلی را در منطقه در بر خواهد گرفت.
در این بیانیه آمده است: پذیرش آتشبس از سوی ما در ۱۹ فروردین ماه مشروط به توقف آتش در تمام جبههها بود اما مثل همیشه آمریکا و اسرائیل به تعهد خود پایبند نبودند، هم حملات را در لبنان ادامه دادند و هم با تعرض مکرر به سواحل و شناورهای ایرانی در تنگه هرمز، دریای عمان و اقیانوس هند آتشبس را نقض کردند.
