The ISNA news agency reported on Tuesday afternoon, June 18, citing the Iranian Airports and Air Navigation Company, that "all flights from the country's airports have been canceled until further notice."

This agency also requested all passengers to "avoid going to the airports until normal conditions are announced by the relevant authorities to maintain order and prevent any confusion."

This news was released shortly after the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya of the IRGC announced in a statement that operations by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic against Israel had been halted.

At the same time, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced that "due to the conditions of the return flights for pilgrims, there is a possibility of delays in some flights, even up to 72 hours."

He added: "For tomorrow (Tuesday, June 19), 10 flights are scheduled, and we hope that the majority of them will take place."

خبرگزاری ایسنا عصر روز دوشنبه، ۱۸ خردادماه، به نقل از شرکت فرودگاه‌ها و ناوبری هوایی ایران خبر داد که «همه پروازهای فرودگاه‌های کشور تا اطلاع ثانوی لغو شد».

این اداره همچنین از تمام مسافران خواست تا «جهت حفظ نظم و پیشگیری از هرگونه سردرگمی، تا زمان اعلام وضعیت عادی از سوی مراجع ذی‌صلاح به فرودگاه‌ها مراجعه نکنند».

این خبر ساعتی پس از آن منتشر شده که قرارگاه مرکزی خاتم‌الانبیاء سپاه در آغاز بعدازظهر روز دوشنبه با انتشار بیانیه‌ای از توقف عملیات نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی علیه اسرائیل خبر داد.

همزمان رئیس سازمان حج و زیارت خبر داده است که «با توجه به شرایط پروازهای بازگشت حجاج احتمال تأخیر در برخی پروازها حتی تا ۷۲ ساعت وجود دارد».

او اضافه کرد: «برای فردا (سه‌شنبه ۱۹ خرداد) ۱۰ پرواز پیش‌بینی شده که امیدواریم بخش عمده آن‌ها انجام شود.»
