The Prime Minister of Israel on Monday, June 18, referred to the cessation of retaliatory attacks between Israel and Iran, stating, "The shelling has stopped, but if the terrorist regime (Iran) makes a mistake, we will respond severely." Benjamin Netanyahu, in his first video message following the recent wave of attacks between Iran and Israel, added, "Iran and Hezbollah are weaker than ever, and we are stronger than ever."

According to him, "Iran and Hezbollah tried to impose a new equation on us that is intolerable and unacceptable to us. They thought they could attack Israel from the territory of Lebanon and from Iran, and we would remain silent. That did not happen and will not happen, not while I am the leader."

The Prime Minister of Israel emphasized, "We will attack, we will respond with strength. We will continue to destroy all their terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, and we will restore security to the north. If we had not acted in a timely and powerful manner, we would not be here today."

Netanyahu also stated that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons.

نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل روز دوشنبه ۱۸ خرداد با اشاره به توقف حملات متقابل اسرائیل و ایران گفت «آتشباری متوقف شده اما اگر رژیم تروریستی (ایران) اشتباه کند، ما به شدت پاسخ خواهیم داد».
بنیامین نتانیاهو در اولین پیام ویدئویی خود پس از آغاز موج تازه حملات ایران و اسرائیل، افزود: «ایران و حزب‌الله از همیشه ضعیف‌تر و ما قوی‌تر از همیشه هستیم».
به گفته او، «ایران و حزب‌الله تلاش کردند معادله جدیدی را به ما تحمیل کنند که از نظر ما غیرقابل تحمل و غیرقابل قبول است. آن‌ها فکر می‌کردند که از خاک لبنان و از ایران به اسرائیل حمله می‌کنند و ما سکوت خواهیم کرد. این اتفاق نیفتاد و نخواهد افتاد، نه در زمانی که من رهبر هستم».
نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل تصریح کرد: «ما حمله خواهیم کرد، با قدرت پاسخ خواهیم داد. به نابودی تمام زیرساخت‌های تروریستی آن‌ها در جنوب لبنان ادامه می‌دهیم، و امنیت را به شمال باز خواهیم گرداند. اگر به موقع و با قدرت اقدام نکرده بودیم، امروز این‌جا نبودیم».
نتانیاهو همچنین گفت که ایران به سلاح هسته‌ای دست نخواهد یافت.
