یک مقام آمریکایی، روز دوشنبه ۱۸ خرداد ۱۴۰۵، اظهارات مطرح‌شده از سوی ارتش اسراییل مبنی بر مشارکت ایالات متحده در رهگیری موشک‌های بالستیک شلیک‌شده از جمهوری اسلامی به سوی اسراییل را رد کرد.
به گزارش سی‌ان‌ان، این مقام آمریکایی گفت ارتش ایالات متحده هیچ‌یک از موشک‌های ایرانی که بامداد دوشنبه به سمت اسراییل شلیک شدند را رهگیری نکرده است.
این موضع‌گیری در حالی مطرح می‌شود که در دورهای پیشین درگیری میان ایران و اسراییل، آمریکا با استفاده از سامانه‌های دفاعی خود در رهگیری برخی موشک‌های شلیک‌شده به سوی اسراییل مشارکت داشت.
