Sara Smith, the North America editor for the BBC, had a brief phone call with Donald Trump regarding his phone conversation yesterday with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel.

When Mr. Trump was asked whether Netanyahu had defied his request by launching a missile attack on Iran on Sunday, the U.S. President denied this, saying, "No, no. The missiles had already been fired. They were already on their way."

He then added, "If I tell him to do something, he does it."

The call lasted less than a minute.

In another part of the conversation, Sara Smith asked Mr. Trump what he had said to Netanyahu to stop the Israeli attacks on Iran.

"The only thing I said was that we need to use common sense. We are very close to signing a very powerful and very good agreement. No nuclear weapons, nothing else."

He continued, "You know, we need to use a lot of common sense. Everything was good."

در بخش دیگری، سارا اسمیت از آقای ترامپ پرسید که برای متوقف کردن حملات اسرائیل به ایران به نتانیاهو چه گفته است.

«تنها چیزی که گفتم این بود که باید از عقل و منطق استفاده کنیم. ما به امضای یک توافق بسیار قدرتمند و بسیار خوب نزدیک هستیم. بدون سلاح هسته‌ای، بدون هیچ چیز دیگر.»

او ادامه داد: «می‌دانید، باید از مقدار زیادی عقل سلیم استفاده کنیم. همه چیز خوب بود.»
