A government expert at the Islamic Republic's broadcasting organization claimed that the U.S. suffered over 7,000 to 8,000 injuries and at least 1,000 deaths in the 40-day war.

He stated, "For us, inflicting casualties on Americans and Israelis is nothing," and added that the Islamic Republic has exercised restraint at the "knowledgeable and desperate" request of regional countries.

Earlier, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, commemorated the 13 American soldiers killed during the Iran war on June 4 during the "Memorial Day" ceremony, stating that they sacrificed their lives to ensure that Iran "will never acquire nuclear weapons."
