Ismail Qaani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has reacted to the missile attack from Yemen towards Israel last night, describing it as a sign of what he calls the "intelligence of the resistance front."

Mr. Qaani stated on Tuesday: "The timely and powerful action of the heroic Yemen shows the intelligence of the resistance front; if necessary, others will also come. The malice of the Zionist regime and the U.S. in this region will provoke a reaction from the united resistance front. Borderless fighters are overseeing your passageways; if you continue your aggression, they will seize your throat."

On Sunday night, the Israeli army announced that it had detected a missile launch from Yemen towards Israel and shortly thereafter reported intercepting it.

Soon after, the Houthis of Yemen confirmed the attack on Israel, stating that they targeted the "occupied area of Jaffa."

The Houthis also declared a "complete and absolute" ban on Israeli maritime traffic in the Red Sea:

"We will not remain silent in the face of the unjust blockade imposed on our people and the people of the axis of jihad and resistance in Palestine, Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq."

اسماعیل قاآنی، فرمانده نیروی قدس سپاه پاسداران در اظهاراتی جدید به حمله موشکی شب گذشته از خاک یمن به سوی اسرائیل واکنش نشان داده و آن را نشانه‌ای آنچه «هوشمندی جبهه مقاومت» خوانده، دانسته است.

آقای قاآنی روز دوشنبه گفت: «اقدام به موقع و با اقتدار یمن قهرمان نشان از هوشمندی جبهه مقاومت دارد اگر لازم شد دیگران نیز می‌آیند. شرارت‌های رژیم صهیونی و آمریکا در این منطقه عکس‌العمل جبهه متحد مقاومت را در پی خواهد داشت. رزمندگان بدون مرز مشرف برگلوگاههای عبور شما هستند به تعرض ادامه دهید گلوی شما را خواهند گرفت.»

یکشنبه شب ارتش اسرائیل اعلام کرد که پرتاب یک موشک از خاک یمن به سوی اسرائیل را رصد کرده و کمی بعد از رهگیری آن خبر داد.

کمی بعد حوثی‌های یمن حمله به اسرائیل را تایید کردند و گفتند که «منطقه اشغالی یافا» را هدف قرار داده‌اند.

حوثی‌ها همچنین در بیانیه‌ای «ممنوعیت کامل و مطلق» تردد دریایی اسرائیل در دریای سرخ را اعلام کردند:

«ما در قبال محاصره ناعادلانه تحمیل‌شده بر مردم خود و مردم محور جهاد و مقاومت در فلسطین، غزه، ایران، لبنان و عراق ساکت نخواهیم نشست.»
