The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry regarding the impact of recent military conflicts on negotiations with the United States said, "It needs to be examined; diplomacy and the field are not separate matters but are in line and in parallel with each other."

Ismail Baqai on Wednesday, June 10, discussed the latest status of negotiations, stating: "Considering last night's developments, we need to assess. The diplomatic process does not happen in a vacuum, and to advance any diplomatic process, you need a minimal space to be able to move the ongoing process forward."

Last night, the U.S. military conducted strikes in southern Iran in response to the downing of an American helicopter off the coast of Oman, and Iran also reacted by launching missiles at some countries in the region.

Donald Trump, who had previously mentioned the proximity of an agreement multiple times, said during the U.S. operations in southern Iran: "We had a very good agreement, and we will likely still have one."

سخنگوی وزارت خارجه ایران درباره تأثیر درگیری‌های نظامی اخیر بر مذاکرات با آمریکا گفت ««باید بررسی شود، دیپلماسی و میدان دو امر جدا از هم نبوده و در امتداد و عرض یکدیگر» هستند.

اسماعیل بقائی روز چهارشنبه ۲۰ خرداد دربارهٔ آخرین وضعیت مذاکرات هم گفت: «با توجه به تحولات دیشب باید بررسی کنیم. روند دیپلماتیک در خلأ اتفاق نمی‌افتد و برای پیشبرد هر فرایند دیپلماتیکی نیازمند فضای حداقلی هستید تا بتوان روند جاری را پیش برد.»

شب گذشته ارتش ایالات متحده، در واکنش به سرنگونی یک بالگرد آمریکایی در سواحل عمان، حملاتی را به جنوب ایران انجام داد و ایران نیز در واکنش به شلیک موشک به برخی کشورهای منطقه اقدام کرد.

دونالد ترامپ که پیشتر بارها از نزدیک بودن توافق خبر داده بود، هنگام انجام عملیات آمریکا در جنوب ایران گفت: «ما توافقی بسیار خوب داشتیم و احتمالاً همچنان خواهیم داشت.»
