دونالد ترامپ، رییس‌جمهوری آمریکا، در مصاحبه با فاکس‌نیوز گفت ممکن است به‌زودی دستور حملات جدید به نیروگاه‌ها و پل‌ها در ایران را صادر کند.
او دلیل این موضوع را طولانی شدن روند مذاکرات از سوی جمهوری اسلامی عنوان کرد و افزود تهران دستیابی به توافق را بیش از حد به تاخیر انداخته است.
ترامپ تاکید کرد صدور دستور حملات جدید نزدیک است و گفت اگر روند مذاکرات تغییر نکند، تصمیم‌های تازه‌ای اتخاذ خواهد شد. او افزود ۵۵ درصد از سامانه‌های راداری که جمهوری اسلامی در دوران آتش‌بس بازسازی کرده بود، در حملات جدید آمریکا نابود شد.

او افزود این پهپاد میان دو خلبان گیر کرد و با وجود برخورد، انفجاری رخ نداد.
ترامپ گفت خلبانان بالگرد را در دریا فرود آوردند و برای نخستین بار در تاریخ نظامی آمریکا، به وسیله یک شناور دریایی بدون سرنشین نجات پیدا کردند.
