Various media outlets reported, citing diplomats, that a Qatari negotiating team is traveling to Tehran on Wednesday to address the remaining disputes between the United States and Iran.

According to Agence France-Presse, a diplomat familiar with the trip stated that this Qatari negotiating team "traveled to Tehran after consulting with the United States" to meet with Iranian officials and "fill the remaining gaps."

Since the ceasefire between Iran and the U.S. and Israel, Pakistan has been leading as the main mediator in the peace negotiations between Iran and the U.S., but in recent weeks, Qatar has also been trying to act as another mediator to facilitate an understanding between Iran and the U.S.

رسانه‌های مختلف به نقل از دیپلمات‌ها از سفر یک گروه مذاکره کننده قطری به تهران در روز چهارشنبه برای رسیدگی به اختلافات باقی‌مانده بین ایالات متحده و ایران خبر دادند.

خبرگزاری فرانسه به نقل از دیپلماتی آگاه به این سفر نوشت که این گروه مذاکره کننده قطری «پس از مشورت با ایالات متحده» به تهران سفر کرده تا در دیدار با مقام‌های ایران «شکاف‌های باقی‌مانده را پر کنند.»

از زمان آتش‌بس میان ایران و آمریکا و اسرائیل، پاکستان به عنوان میانجی اصلی مذاکرات صلح میان ایران و آمریکا را هدایت می‌کرد اما در هفته‌های اخیر قطر نیز به عنوان میانجی دیگر تلاش کرده تا امکان برقرای تفاهمی میان ایران و آمریکا را فراهم کند.
