♦️Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced in an interview with Fox News that the reason for the crash of the U.S. Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday was an Iranian drone that had become lodged in the body of the military aircraft and in the space between its two crew members.

According to Fox News and based on Trump's phone conversation with Trey Yingst, a reporter for the network on Wednesday, the Apache helicopter was flying at a low altitude when the Iranian drone became trapped inside the fighter helicopter without detonating. According to the report, the pilots guided the helicopter down along with the drone inside it, and it fell into the water.

Following this incident on Monday evening, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had conducted "legitimate defensive strikes" against targets in Iran; attacks that subsequently led to Iran's retaliatory response and the targeting of U.S. military facilities across the Persian Gulf.

♦️دونالد ترامپ، رئیس‌جمهوری آمریکا در گفتگو با شبکه فاکس‌نیوز اعلام کرد که دلیل سقوط روز دوشنبه بالگرد آپاچی آمریکا در نزدیکی تنگه هرمز، یک پهپاد ایرانی بوده که در بدنه این پرنده نظامی و در فضای میان دو خدمه آن گیر کرده بود.

به گزارش فاکس‌نیوز و به نقل از گفتگوی تلفنی ترامپ با تری اینگست، خبرنگار این شبکه در روز چهارشنبه، این بالگرد آپاچی در ارتفاع پایین در حال پرواز بوده که پهپاد ایرانی بدون منفجر شدن، درون این بالگرد جنگنده گیر می‌کند. بر اساس این گزارش، خلبانان پس از این اتفاق بالگرد را به همراه پهپادی که درون آن بوده، به پایین هدایت کرده و در آب افتاده‌اند.

در پی این حادثه در شامگاه دوشنبه، فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا (سنتکام) اعلام کرد که «حملات دفاع مشروع» را علیه اهدافی در ایران انجام داده است؛ حملاتی که در ادامه منجر به پاسخ تلافی‌جویانه ایران و هدف قرار گرفتن تأسیسات نظامی آمریکا در سراسر خلیج فارس شد.
