"Scott Basset," the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, wrote on X that the Islamic Republic of Iran will lose in a "zero-sum game."

Basset explained in this post that the damages caused by the Islamic Republic's missile and drone attacks on Arab countries, described as "America's allies in the Gulf," will be deducted from the blocked assets in the U.S.

The U.S. Treasury Secretary also stated that any fees collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz will be compensated by withdrawing from Iran's accounts.

وزیر دارایی آمریکا همچنین نوشت که هرگونه عوارضی که از کشتی‌ها برای عبور از تنگه هرمز دریافت شود، با برداشت از حساب‌های ایران جبران خواهد شد.
